Pembroke, Bermuda, September 17, 2020 – PartnerRe announced today that John Mok will join the Company in February 2021 as CEO, Life & Health Asia Pacific.
As CEO of the Life & Health business in Asia Pacific, Mr. Mok will assume responsibility for further developing and growing PartnerRe’s Life & Health business in the region. He will be based in PartnerRe’s Singapore office and will report to Marc Archambault, CEO Life & Health and Group Executive Committee member.

Mr. Mok brings 18 years experience in the Life & Health (re)insurance industry in Asia Pacific. He joins us from Swiss Re, where he most recently held the position of Head of Client Markets in Japan, where he led Swiss Re Japan’s growth strategy for both their Life & Health and Property & Casualty business. Prior to that, Mr. Mok held various positions responsible for Life & Health markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, after starting his career in Australia in both insurance and reinsurance industries. John is an actuary, and graduated with a Masters of Commerce majoring in Actuarial Studies in Macquarie University in Sydney.
