PartnerRe Appoints Jeffrey Ryan Head of Financial Risks

PEMBROKE, Bermuda, May 4, 2020 – PartnerRe Ltd. (“PartnerRe”) today announced the appointment of Jeffrey Ryan as Head of Financial Risks, effective May 1, 2020.

In his role, Mr. Ryan assumes responsibility of the leadership of our worldwide Financial Risks team and portfolio. Based in PartnerRe’s Stamford office, Mr. Ryan will report to Greg Haft, CEO Specialty Lines.

Mr. Ryan has extensive experience in financial risks reinsurance and has spent the majority of his 30-year career in credit & bond, mortgage and other financial risks underwriting and leadership positions, most recently as Head of Credit, Bond and Mortgage at Axis Re. Mr. Ryan holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from the University of Richmond’s E. Claiborne Robbins School of Business.
